Thank you for your hospitality and friendliness with
accommodating the managers from our head office and
regional office. They were very impressed with your
guest house and found it very entertaining and
comfortable. All three men assured me that their every
need was met.

It is not often I am moved to write letters, but on this
occasion, I felt I really had to share this gem my
family and I recently discovered in the Eastern Cape.
Having recently returned to live in South Africa and in
Jeffreys Bay, after 16 years living in the UK, we find
we often have friends coming to visit us. Not always
having the space to accommodate the, we decided to
investigate the local B & B situation.
Within walking distance of our home, we have found
Hettie Matthee at House Pinnaquin. This is truly a gem
of a place, the rooms are all individually decorated,
attention to detail is second to none. The bathrooms are
pure luxury. One can sit in bed or on your own private
balcony and watch the sun rise up over the sea while
drinking that early morning tea or coffee.
On request, Hettie will cook you the most wonderful
candlelit dinner for you and your guests. Her cooking is
not to be missed! Not only is this a place for visitors,
but the perfect romantic getaway for locals who do not
want to venture too far from the family, yet still have
that special time away. let Hettie prepare a romantic
meal for two before retiring to your own special haven,
candlelit if desired!

I hope its going well there in Jeffreys Bay. Everything
here is back to normal. Actually sorry about that as I
would have liked to stayed on a day or two longer. I
thought I would write you a short letter first thing
this morning before I get busy.
Firstly, from my side, thank you very much for
everything. You have a lovely place and make a person
feel so at home. Everything was just perfect! The rooms
were wonderful and comfortable. It was a treat.
And as for the two Henry's, those two Englishmen enjoyed
themselves so much. They could not get over the place
and said they were not used to such hospitality and to
feeling so at home. Obviously I got rather cocky and
said that Afrikaners are really nice people.
I would also like to say thank you for calling yesterday
evening about the toothbrush and asking about our return
trip. Henry junior was astounded; he could not believe
it and neither could I. We really appreciate it! I can
not thank you enough. One could not ask to meet someone
nicer than you. Wishing you all the best with the
business and hoping to see you again soon!
